FARMERS

FARMERS, formed in April 2003, started as a three piece band doing gigs around Shinjuku, Shibuya and Shimokitazawa. After the bassist left in that September the band choose to play by themselves without any support musicians. Their performances are not only unique in its two-piece-band style but also heated and attracting. They have been enjoying an established reputation for their perfect combination of Ikeda’s exploding vocalization and Sugiyama’s surging drumming, which is stunningly edgy and powerful. The tracks are mixes of emotions and suggestiveness, boys’ gloom, anxiety and wishes.
The band released their first mini album “KAO” (i.e. Face) from JAMWAX in April 2006. After that they toured nationwide for the first time playing over sixty gigs. The second mini album “Good Music Good Feeling” has just come out in September 2007 from Omocha-Kobo. They’ll participate in events like MEGA ROCK 2007, MINAMI WHEEL 2007, and so on.
