She has released two singles and an album entitled “KOKYU” by the name of Lily Chou-Chou for the project of the film “All About Lily Chou-Chou”, directed by Shunji Iwai, released in 2001. The album has been widely acclaimed not only in music scene but also in various fields like film directors.
Since her debut as Salyu with the single “VALON-1” in 2004, she has released eight singles and the 1st album “landmark”. All of her works have been produced by Takeshi Kobayashi.
She has been attracting a great deal of attention, as she has collaborated in the single “to U” by Bank Band with Salyu, which has been the theme song of “NEWS23”, the main news program of Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS group), and then her vocal has been widely heard in the single “platform”, the main theme of a motion picture. Her long-awaited second album “TERMINAL” has been just released in January 2007.
