SEKAIICHI which means the top of the world, was formed in August 2001 by a genuine singer Kei Iwasaki (Vo. / G.) and his admiring drummer, Kyo Yoshizawa. They had performed only by themselves, in the formation of a vocalist with an acoustic guitar and a drummer. Meanwhile the former bassist joined, then left. The band approached Masayuki Nakauchi who was a bassist then, but his answer was gIfd join if Ifd be a guitarist.h He actually joined on the first day they practiced and also did a gig at the same date in October 2002.To tell the truth, itfs queer but Masayuki foresaw in his dream that he becomes a member of the band. In March 2003, Kentaro Izumi who had been a support bassist became a member because of Keifs proposal under the beautiful moon.

After many enthusiastic gigs the first album gKyo Anohashino Muko Madeh (i.e. today over that bridge) was released from tokiola records in December 2003. Then they released the first single gFuridashino Utah (i.e. a song of the beginning) in April 2004.
In April 2005 their single gIshi Korobuh (i.e. a stone, rolling) came out from Toyfs Factory, which was followed by the album gAwai Akato Kireina Aotoh (i.e. pale red and beautiful blue). In addition to that they toured nationwide, including three one-man gigs. After the single gNijih (i.e. rainbow) in November of the year, they toured with LUNKHEAD.
Touring nationwide and participating many events and festivals, the single gin the ARTh appeared in May 2006, and the album gart in the EartHh followed in June.
