2016年4月にイギリスWembley Arenaにて日本人初となるワンマンライブを開催。2019年6月世界最大規模のロックフェスGlastonbury Festivalに出演し大きな話題となる。同年9月から世界各国をまわるMETAL GALAXY WORLD TOURがスタート。2019年10月11日に3rdアルバム「METAL GALAXY」を世界同時リリースし、同日にはアメリカで初のアリーナワンマンライブをロサンゼルスThe Forumで開催。Billboard Top 200の総合アルバムチャートでは、自身の前作実績を大きく上回る13位にランクイン、Rockアルバムチャートではアジアアーティストとして史上初となる1位を獲得した。また、UK Albums Chartのアルバム総合チャートでは2作連続でTOP20入り、ロック・メタル部門で日本人アーティスト初となる1位を獲得するなど、世界各国へと活躍の幅を広げている。2021年1⽉から4⽉にかけて4ヶ⽉連続でBABYMETAL史上初の⽇本武道館10公演ワンマンライブ「10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN」を開催。2023年1月に幕張メッセにて、ライブ活動封印期間から約2年ぶりとなる国内ライブ「BABYMETAL RETURNS - THE OTHER ONE - 」を開催。同年3月にCONCEPT ALBUM「THE OTHER ONE」をリリースし、4月にはぴあアリーナMMにて「BABYMETAL BEGINS - THE OTHER ONE - 」を開催。SU-METAL、MOAMETAL、MOMOMETALからなる新生BABYMETALとして新章がスタートし、スウェーデン出身のパワーメタル・バンドSabatonのUK & EUツアーにSpecial Guestとして参加を果たす。5月から６月にかけて、「BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023」として、初となるアジア & オーストラリアでのワンマンツアーを完遂。
6月にBlu-ray & DVD & LIVE ALBUM / VINYL「BABYMETAL RETURNS - THE OTHER ONE - 」をリリース。８月には、RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2023 in EZOとSUMMER SONIC 2023に出演し、Digital Single「メタり！！ (feat. Tom Morello)」を配信リリース。8月から10月にかけてDETHKLOKと北米を巡るコーヘッドラインツアー「THE BABYKLOK TOUR 2023」を完遂。10月には、Blu-ray & DVD & LIVE ALBUM / VINYL「BABYMETAL BEGINS - THE OTHER ONE - 」をリリース。11月にブリング・ミー・ザ・ホライズンがキュレートする新フェス「NEX_FEST」へ出演。12月には、EU & UKでの20公演に及ぶワンマンツアーを完遂。2024年3月2日（土）、3日（日）に横浜アリーナにて、MOMOMETALの聖誕を祝う2DAYS公演「BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024 LEGEND - MM」、そして、3月23日（土）、24日（日）に沖縄コンベンションセンターにて、ワールドツアーのファイナルとなる2DAYS公演「BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND - 43」の開催。2023年1月～2024年3月にかけて、北米、イギリス、ヨーロッパ、アジア、オーストラリアなど世界25カ国を巡り、国内外で通算98公演、フェスやゲストアクト出演を除くヘッドラインツアーの総動員数約28万人となる自身最大規模のワールドツアーを完遂。2024年4月には、アメリカ・サンフランシスコ／THE MASONICにて DETHKLOKとのコーヘッドラインショーを2DAYS開催し、ラスベガスの音楽フェス「Sick New World」(約85,000人収容)に出演。5月にはさいたまスーパーアリーナで初主催のフェス「FOX_FEST」（フォックス・フェス）を2DAYS開催。5月に世界同時配信リリースされたELECTRIC CALLBOYとのコラボ曲「RATATATA」が、米国ビルボードのハードロック・デジタル・ソング・セールスで1位を獲得。6月には、UK & EUで8カ国を巡り、世界有数の音楽フェスである、ドイツの「ROCK IM PARK」（約80,000人収容）」、「ROCK AM RING」（約97,500人収容）やイギリスの「DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL」（約100,000人収容）をはじめ、フランスの「HELLFEST」（約60,000人収容）など大型音楽フェスへの出演が10公演、更にオランダ・アムステルダム、ポーランド・ワルシャワ、フランス・トゥールーズでのヘッドラインショーを3公演開催し、通算13公演からなるUK & EUツアーを敢行。2020年10月にリリースされたBRING ME THE HORIZONとのコラボ曲「Kingslayer ft. BABYMETAL」が、2024年6月25日にアメリカレコード協会（RIAA）からゴールドディスク認定された。
8月24日（土）には、タイ・バンコクで開催の「SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK 2024」のBODYSLAMのステージへF.HEROとともにスペシャルゲスト出演や8 月25 日（日）にジャカルタ・インドネシア（CARNAVAL ANCOL）で開催された「NEXFEST 2024 - JAKARTA - INDONESIA」に出演するなど、アジア4都市（シンガポール、クアラルンプール、バンコク、ジャカルタ）を巡る自身2回目のアジアツアーを敢行。
今後、9月15日（日）には、テレビ朝日開局65 周年記念「テレビ朝日ドリームフェスティバル2024」（幕張メッセ4 - 7 ホール）へ出演する他、10 月から予定している初の南米ツアー（ブラジル、アルゼンチン、ペルー、チリ）では、Slipknot が主催するフェス「KNOTFEST」への出演やSlipknot のメキシコでのヘッドラインショーにスペシャルゲストとしての出演も決定。更に、11 月から12 月にかけて、全18 公演からなる全米ツアーを予定している。
また、自身最大規模のワールドツアー「BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024」の締め括りとなった沖縄公演「BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND - 43」の模様を収めたライブフィルムが『BABYMETAL LEGEND - 43 THE MOVIE』と題して、2024 年8 月23 日（金）より全国の劇場で公開。こちらの映画は、海外での上映も決定し、北米での上映は、12月11日（水）、15日（日）、タイでは、10月17日（木）より、タイのMajor Cineplex系列の映画館で公開される他、香港での上映も予定している。

BABYMETAL was formed in 2010. In April 2016, BABYMETAL became the first Japanese artists to ever headline at the prestigious Wembley Arena in the UK. In June 2019, they performed at one of the world’s largest music festivals, Glastonbury Festival, and their appearance at this festival made headlines around the world. That same year in September, BABYMETAL embarked on their METAL GALAXY WORLD TOUR. On October 11th, 2019, BABYMETAL had a worldwide release of their 3rd album METAL GALAXY and on that same day, they had their first U.S. headlining arena show at The Forum in Los Angeles, California. METAL GALAXY ranked No. 13 on the US Billboard Top 200 (Albums Chart), largely surpassing their own record of their previous album, and ranked No.1 on the Top Rock Albums Chart for the first time ever as an Asian artist. In the UK Official Charts, the album consecutively ranked in the Official Albums Chart Top 20 from their previous album and ranked No.1 on the Rock & Metal Albums Chart for the first time in history as a Japanese artist. In 2021, over a four-month period from January to April, they accomplished a total of 10 headline performances at the Nippon Budokan called 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN. After a 2-year hiatus from live performances, in January 2023, BABYMETAL performed their 2 days headline show called BABYMETAL RETURNS - THE OTHER ONE - at Makuhari Messe. In March of the same year, they released their CONCEPT ALBUM THE OTHER ONE and in April they held their 2 days headline show called BABYMETAL BEGINS - THE OTHER ONE - at PIA ARENA MM. A new chapter has started as newly reborn BABYMETAL, now consisting of SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL, and they have performed as a special guest on Swedish power metal band Sabatonds UK & EU tour. From May to June, they held their first headline tour in Asia & Australia as BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 and released their Blu-ray & DVD & LIVE ALBUM/VINYL BABYMETAL RETURNS - THE OTHER ONE - in June. In August, they performed at RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2023 in EZO and SUMMER SONIC 2023 and released their digital single METALI!! (feat. Tom Morello). In October, BABYMETAL finished their co-headline tour with DETHKLOK, THE BABYKLOK TOUR 2023, in North America and released their new Blu-ray & DVD & LIVE ALBUM / VINYL BABYMETAL BEGINS - THE OTHER ONE -. In November, they performed at “NEX_FEST” which is a new festival curated by Bring Me The Horizon. In December, BABYMETAL completed their headline tour consisting of 20 shows in EU & UK. In Japan, the 2DAYS performance “BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024 LEGEND - MM” celebrating MOMOMETAL’s birth was held at Yokohama Arena on Saturday, March 2nd and Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, and the final 2DAYS performance of their world tour, “BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND - 43” was held at the Okinawa Convention Center on Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday, 24th, 2024. From January 2023 to March 2024, BAYMETAL toured 25 countries around the world including North America, UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia, with a total of 98 performances in Japan and overseas, and a total audience of approximately 280,000 people, excluding festivals and guest act appearances. In April 2024, they held their 2 days co-headline show with DETHKLOK at THE MASONIC in San Francisco, USA, and perform at the music festival "Sick New World" in Las Vegas (capacity: approximately 85,000 people). In May, their first 2 days festival “FOX_FEST” was held at Saitama Super Arena. The collaboration song "RATATATA" with ELECTRIC CALLBOY, which was released simultaneously worldwide in May, reached number 1 on the US Billboard Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. In June, BABYMETAL toured 8 countries in the UK & EU, including 10 large leading music festivals such as Germanyds “ROCK IM PARK” (approximately 80,000 people capacity) and “ROCK AM RING” (approximately 97,500 people capacity), "DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL" (capacity approx. 100,000 people) in the UK and "HELLFEST" in France (capacity approx. 60,000 people), and has also performed in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Warsaw, Poland, and Toulouse, France. They held three headline shows and embarked on a UK & EU tour consisting of a total of 13 shows. The collaboration song “Kingslayer ft. BABYMETAL” with BRING ME THE HORIZON, released in October 2020, was certified as a gold disc by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 25, 2024. On Saturday, August 24th, BABYMETAL along with F.HERO appeared as special guest on the BODYSLAM stage at "SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK 2024" held in Bangkok, Thailand, and on Sunday, August 25th, they performed in Jakarta, Indonesia (CARNAVAL ANCOL) at “NEXFEST 2024 - JAKARTA – INDONESIA”. During this second Asian tour, BAYMETAL visited four Asian cities (Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Jakarta).
On Sunday, September 15th, BABYMETAL will perform at TV Asahi Dream Festival 2024 (Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 4-7) commemorating the 65th anniversary of TV Asahids opening. Then they will be embarking on their first South American tour scheduled for October. During this tour BABYMETAL will perform in Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Chile. They will perform at Slipknotds festival “KNOTFEST” and will appear as a special guest at Slipknotds headline show in Mexico. Furthermore, a US tour consisting of 18 performances is planned from November to December. In addition, their live film "BABYMETAL LEGEND - 43 THE MOVIE", a live film of the Okinawa performance "BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND - 43" which concluded their largest world tour "BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024" has been released in theaters nationwide from Friday, August 23, 2024. This movie has also been confirmed to be released in overseas, in movies theaters of North America on Wednesday, December 11th and Sunday, December 15th, and in Thailand from Thursday October 17th in Thailandds Major Cineplex cinemas. The film is also scheduled to be screened in Hong Kong.

This movie has also been confirmed to be released in overseas, in movies theaters of North America on Wednesday, December 11th and Sunday, December 15th, and in Thailand from Thursday October 17th in Thailandds Major Cineplex cinemas. The film is also scheduled to be screened in Hong Kong.
